"We had a minor problem with the bath - no plug, and impossible to fill bath without shower running too. Also a little disappointed that some construction work was going on round the pool, though not affecting the pool itself. Keen to enjoy a sea view with balcony I mentioned these minor disappointments to reception, and aware the hotel was not full, asked if there was a possibility of an upgrade. Apologies were genuine and an upgrade to a perfect much larger room, with view, balcony and spa was readily given. Service at reception, bar, breakfast and dinner were excellent - a perfect mix of genuine Californian laid-back, friendly, professionalism. Just what we were looking for. Full marks to the Inn at Morro Bay."

The Inn At Morro Bay is located in the Morro Bay National Bird Estuary, just inside the gates of Morro Bay State Park. The property offers 98 guest rooms in French Country decor in a two-story Cape cod style buildings overlooking the bay. Each guestroom is unique and offers all the amenities of home and then some. The Inn offers complimentary beach cruiser bicycles for exploring the area, a heated swimming pool, a massage center and golf. The hotel's Orchid dining room features California cuisine. The Bay Club lounge offers cocktails, appetizers and live entertainment. Both feature spectacular views of Morro Bay.
